The T9 Stiletto prototype is now flying powered by a 100 hp 912 Rotax engine.
This is the lastest in a series of updates introduced by the current owner of the aircraft, Mr. Stefano Arcifa, who reports enthusiastically about its flying qualities and performances.
Besides the new, 25% more powerful engine, the updates include, among other things, a new shape for the engine cowling, the full landing gear fairing, a glass instrument panel.
T9 is an original Project with some features, regarding the structural, aerodynamic and ergonomic solutions that were adopted, which distinguish it from other aircraft of the same category currently on the market Designed around the Far 23 requirements, it can also meet, when properly equipped, the new Light Sport Aviation ( LSA ) Specifications.
The prototype was build as a demonstrator by Terzi Aerodyne, a Company set up by its Designer, Dr. Ing. Pietro Terzi, who owns design,manufacturing and commercial exclusive rights for this Project, in the frame of its developmental work.
The T9 Stiletto Project, that is currently available, can be provided to the customer at different levels of development according to their specific needs: from the design know-how only to a full production start-up package that includes tools and one or more pre-series aircraft.
